DOSSIER Ciudades is a book series edited by the Instituto Universitario de Urbanista of the University of Valladolid.
The overall objective of this book series is to publish research findings, work, scientific meetings, seminars and teachers programmes of the Institute or those who have participated in some of its member. In particular, the main objective is to publish materials that give a comprehensive academic visibility to the most relevant projects, agreements and research work carried out by the Institute or with their participation, producing works of proven value and conceived as monographic books or manuals as well as publish critical texts to develop even radically, the most pressing issues of urban problems.
The common key to this series is the humanized space, so that territory and city are always present, with regard to items such as public interest, social equity and planning as a common reference, always ensuring the academic value, originality, the opportunity, the thematic variety and multidisciplinary perspective. This series of publications DOSSIER Ciudades set an editorial policy which aims to complement the scientific journal Ciudades that Instituto Universitario de Urbanistica at the University of Valladolid publishes regularly.
