Enrique Rodrigo González, architect by the University of Valladolid (1999), University Specialist in Urban and Territorial Planning (University of Valladolid, 2000), Expert in Geographic Information Systems (University of Huelva, 2013) and Specialist in G.I.S. applied to Urban Planning (ESRI, 2008), having obtained the user certification ArcGIS desktop (ESRI, 2010). Member of the Spanish Association of Urban Planning Technicians (AETU) since 2016.
Since 2000 he is a contracted architect or collaborator of the University Institute of Urbanistics of the University of Valladolid; with whom he has been collaborating since 1990, in research projects, works linked to art. 83 and as head of the Institute’s Workshop.
He teaches undergraduate and master’s degree courses in the curriculum of the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture at the University of Valladolid, and in university extension courses or continuing education on topics related to urban planning and GIS. He has taught in the course “Specialist in Urban Planning. Los Planes Generales de Ordenación Urbana: Fundamentos contenidos, redacción y gestión” of the University of Valladolid, of which he has also been the Secretary.
Author of several papers in congresses, he has collaborated in books, such as: “DOTSE. Directrices de Ordenación de Ámbito Subregional de Segovia y Entorno” (Junta de Castilla y León, 2006), “Territorios de Encrucijada. Pensando el Área Funcional de Zamora” (Junta de Castilla y León, 2006), “Directrices de Ordenación Territorial de Valladolid y Entorno. Avance DOTVAENT” (Junta de Castilla y León, 1999).
His training is completed with courses on advanced topics in GIS and its application in the professional fields covered and specific courses on Technical Inspection of Buildings (ICCL), Guarantee, Urban and Real Estate Valuations (ARQUITASA), Environmental Impact Assessment applied to urban activities (C.O. Biologists CyL) and others related to Urban and Territorial Planning, ICT tools applied to Urban and Territorial Planning, and those linked to rehabilitation, regeneration and urban renewal.
Among his works stand out those carried out as an architect in the Urban Regeneration Strategy in Castilla y León, coordinator in the drafting of the Revision of the PGOU of Valladolid, (2012) and principal drafter of the Municipal Urban Development Standards of more than 10 municipalities of Castilla y León. Collaborator in the Territorial Planning Guidelines (DOT) of Valladolid and Surroundings, as well as those of the functional areas of Segovia, Palencia and Zamora and the Complementary Guidelines of Castilla y León and in the Advance of the DOT of Castilla y León. Co-author of the Normas Subsidiarias Provinciales de Burgos. Collaborator in the General Urban Development Plans of Avila, Villamuriel de Cerrato (Palencia) and Zamora.
Professional architect with 15 years of experience, combining the tasks linked to the University of Valladolid with the work as a freelance professional, being the author of several Partial Plans, Detailed Studies and drafter of more than 50 Building Projects, Activity Files, Legalizations, Urbanization Projects, etc.
