DOSSIER Ciudades is a series of monographic publications by the University Institute of Urban Planning of the University of Valladolid (IUU), which has had a long and fruitful publishing history since 2013.
The overall objective of the series is to share, in open access and free of restrictions, the results of research of proven quality initiated by members of the IUU, its collaborators or authors from outside the Institute. The editorial format is that of a monograph focusing on a specific topic within the IUU’s areas of expertise, developed by a single author individually or by several authors as a collective work. The aim is to disseminate works that contribute to the creation of knowledge through new, unpublished approaches or critical reviews of the existing corpus, with a particular emphasis on multidisciplinary approaches in their methodological and epistemological approaches.
Building on the publication history of this collection, and with the intention of soon achieving the quality standards required for official recognition as an academic publication (CEA-APQ seal), from 2026 onwards each monograph will be subject to blind peer review protocols under the supervision of the Scientific Editorial Committee, made up of the following members:
- Juan Luis de las Rivas Sanz (University of Valladolid – Co-director of Dossier Ciudades)
