Dossier IUU

The DOSSIER IUU collection is a series of monographic publications launched in 2026 as an initiative of the Instituto Universitario de Urbanística at the University of Valladolid, which has already enjoyed a long and fruitful publishing history from 2013 to the present day, under its former name, DOSSIER Ciudades.

The overall aim of the series is to share, via open access and free of restrictions, the results of advanced research of proven quality. The editorial format is that of a monograph focusing on a specific topic within the IUU’s areas of expertise, developed either by a single author working individually or by several authors as a collective work, based on a previously agreed joint plan. This series aims to disseminate works that contribute to the creation of knowledge through novel approaches or critical reviews of the existing theoretical corpus and relevant experiences or case studies, with a particular emphasis on fostering a multidisciplinary approach in their methodological and epistemological perspectives.

Building on the publication history of the DOSSIER Ciudades series, and with a view to soon meeting the quality standards required for its official recognition as an academic publication under the name DOSSIER IUU, from 2026 onwards each monograph will be subject to editorial oversight and prior approval by the IUU Scientific Editorial Committee, before proceeding to its evaluation in accordance with the scientific review protocols of Ediciones UVa.
